IntroductionThe purpose of this document is twofold: (1) to provide quick links to Labour’s criminal justice acts, which contain a large chunk of their attacks on civil liberties (2) to highlight just how profligate the Labour government’s legislating machine has been in this area, apparently with little effect on overall crime levels.
